Fund Raising Events: Working Together and Having Fun

Harvard Lions enjoy working together sharing their time and talents in planning and executing fund raising events such as our annual Fall Festival. It is more fun than it is work as members enjoy the socializing and camaraderie that comes with making these events happen. Most of all we share the satisfaction and fulfillment that comes from knowing the dollars raised will be used to help others. There is a place for everyone on these teams regardless of your skills or how much time you have to give.

In addition to the annual ‘Fall Festival’ and ‘Fruit Sale’, Harvard Lions raise funds through the sale of food and beverage at several major events sponsored by various town organizations. Over the years our ‘Food Tent’ has become recognized for its great hamburgers, cheeseburgers, sausage & peppers and perhaps most of all for its hand-cut regular and sweet potato fries and fried dough.

Members enjoy working together cooking up and serving this great food and meeting so many townspeople in the process…and we’re ever so grateful for the community support each and every time we set up our tent.

We currently support the following town events with our ‘Food Tent’. As with all Harvard Lion fund raising events, 100% of the proceeds are used to benefit the many charities and community programs we support.

  • HARVARD TOWN FLEA MARKET – OCTOBER
